COMPETITION RULES: PURCHASE OF NEW VEHICLES

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  1. The submission of your entry form for your participation in this Competition constitutes acceptance of these Competition Rules, and all entrants agree to abide by these Competition Rules.
  2. The Competition opens at the commencement of normal trading hours in respect of both Numbi Ford White River, located at Crossings Centre R40, White River, and Numbi Ford Hazyview, located at R40 T Junction Main Road, De Rust, (collectively “Westvaal Numbi Ford”) on 1 November 2023, from which date you may submit entries. The Competition closes on the later of Wednesday, 31 January 2024 or the date on which the 100th new vehicle is sold by Westvaal Numbi Ford (“the closing date”). Entries received after the closing date and time will not be accepted.
  3. If you purchase any new Ford vehicle from Westvaal Numbi Ford between 1 November 2023 and the closing date, you will be eligible to enter the Competition. Customers’ sales executive will facilitate entering the customer into the Competition, using their name and surname/company name (as applicable), contact number, ID number, and VIN/Stock Number of the vehicle that qualified them to enter the Competition. It remains the responsibility of the customer to elect to enter the Competition and to ensure that all details are correctly provided.
  4. The sole prize in the Competition is the sum of R100 000 (one hundred thousand Rand), which will be payable to the winner’s bank account (“the prize”) and which payment will be subject to these Competition Rules and to paragraph 13 below. No other prizes will be awarded.
  5. Each qualifying entry form is a single entry into the Competition. Any person may enter this Competition as many times as they like, provided that each entry is in respect of a different new Ford vehicle that was purchased from Westvaal Numbi Ford.
  6. The Competition is, subject to paragraph 7 below, open to both individual persons and legal entities (such as trusts, companies and the like) who purchase a new Ford vehicle from Westvaal Numbi Ford before the closing date. One entry per vehicle purchased will be granted to all purchasers, provided that an extra entry per vehicle will be afforded to each purchaser where the vehicle purchased is financed through Ford Credit.
  7. The Competition is open to all residents of South Africa who are 18 years of age or over and are in possession of a valid driver’s licence, and to all legal entities who are duly registered in South Africa.
  8. The Competition is not open to any members, shareholders, directors, employees, partners, agents, and consultants (and their respective life partners, business partners and immediate families) of either Westvaal Numbi Ford or any other company owned by Westvaal Motor Group (Pty) Ltd.
  9. The winner of the prize will be determined by an independent lucky draw which will be conducted after the closing date of the Competition, and the winner will be notified by Westvaal Numbi Ford.
  10. The winner will be contacted telephonically once the relevant draw has been verified and confirmed.
  11. The prize may not be transferred or exchanged for any other goods or services. The prize may only be paid to the winner, and not to any third party nominated by them.
  12. The winner may claim the prize during normal business hours from Westvaal Numbi Ford. If the prize is not claimed within 30 days of notification to the winner, it may be forfeited at the discretion of Westvaal Numbi Ford.
  13. The winner must allow Westvaal Numbi Ford a reasonable period to arrange for the prize to be transferred into their bank account, and must provide all documents reasonably necessary for this purpose, including an identity document or company documentation, and proof of bank account. The prize will only be paid to the registered owner of the vehicle that was purchased.
  14. The name and photographs of the winner will be published on the Westvaal Motor Group Facebook and displayed in the premises of Westvaal Numbi Ford, and the winner consents to this use and to use in any other promotional material.
  15. The decisions of Westvaal Numbi Ford and its judges are final and may not be challenged. No correspondence will be entertained.
  16. Westvaal Motor Group and/or Westvaal Numbi Ford reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend the competition at any time and for any reason, in which event these Competition Rules will be amended as necessary and as may be determined by Westvaal Numbi Ford in its sole discretion.
  17. By entering the Competition, you give Westvaal Numbi Ford and the participating sponsors permission to use your personal information and photographs for publication purposes in all media including Facebook, on the web, in print and in any other media.
  18. By entering this Competition, you give Westvaal Numbi Ford permission to contact you and to correspond with you regarding any promotional and/or relevant matters.
